AKTIVITAS ANTIFUNGI EKSTRAK DAUN Melastoma malabathricum TERHADAP Fusarium oxysporum DAN Sclerotium rolfsii SECARA IN VITRO

چکیده

Fusarium oxysporum dan Sclerotium rolfsii merupakan patogen tular tanah yang berbahaya bagi tanaman karena tersebut dapat bertahan lama di dalam tanpa inang. Pengendalian sering dilakukan adalah dengan menggunakan fungisida sintetik mengakibatkan pencemaran lingkungan keracunan pada manusia. Salah satu alternatif pengendalian aman dikembangkan penggunaan nabati seperti ekstrak daun Melastoma malabathricum ini memiliki senyawa metabolit sekunder bersifat antimikroba. Penelitian bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh M. sebagai antifungi terhadap pertumbuhan F.oxysporum S. mengetahui tingkat aktivitas menghambat rolfsii. dilaksanakan Laboratorium Biologi, Fakultas Matematika Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam Universitas Negeri Padang, terdiri dari 5 perlakuan 3 ulangan. Perlakuan konsentrasi berbeda, yaitu 0% (kontrol), 10%, 20%, 30% 40%. Data diperoleh dianalisis sidik ragam (ANOVA) uji lanjut Duncan’s New Multiple Range Test (DNMRT). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa berpengaruh perbedaan nyata semua dibandingkan kontrol, kecuali 10% S.rolfsii. Ekstrak berbeda F.oxysporum, sedang kuat, sedangkan S.rolsii aktifitas sama, lemah.
